Chris looks after the Magpie web site. He is fluent in a multitude of languages, but can only really communicate with computers.

Chris’s setting pseudonym, used occasionally, is Gareth, after Gareth Keenan from the Office – a great inspiration. He sometimes has an idea for a really good puzzle that he might set one day.

The Magpie web site is Chris’s responsibility, and he is also the person who normally deals with subscriptions, stats, queries and general correspondence – as well as writing the puzzle commentaries.
